The location of the hotel has been known since 1771. At that time, the area was a property of Moscow provincial doctor G.A. Skiadan. Later in 19th century, the estate was owned by the landowner M.V. Gurieva. In the 1830s there was a revenue house - an authentic Russian phenomenon in the hospitality industry. As of today, 34 author’s rooms continue the tradition and tell the story of Moscow’s nobility and merchant class.

The menu has offers for every taste: author’s and European (mainly Italian and French), Russian dishes. Preparing dishes, the Chef and his team combine, at first glance, incompatible tastes and in other dishes, they make the usual tastes as a new.
Yevgeny Seleznev has been leading the kitchen since the first days and does not allow the culinary process to stagnate: the menu is constantly changing - seasonal novelties, festive specialties, separate dishes for Christmas, Shrovetide and fasting week, as well as for other events.
